This standard replaces GB/T 3302-19824 Rules for Acceptance, Packaging, Marking, Transportation and Storage of Daily-Use Ceramics, and GB/T 11423-1989 “Technical Conditions for Daily-Use Ceramic Carton Packaging”.
Compared with GB/T 3302-1982 and GB/T 11423-1989, the main changes of this standard are as follows: – merged the two standards and rearranged the standard structure;
– cancel the acceptance part of daily-use ceramics; – increase the packaging design;
— Expanded the scope of packaging materials:
Modified some packaging requirements;
—Supplemented and perfected the content of the logo;
Change transportation and storage to transportation and storage, increasing the stacking height requirements. This standard was proposed by China National Light Industry Council.

This standard specifies the packaging, labeling, transportation and storage rules for daily-use ceramic products. This standard applies to the packaging, marking, transportation and storage of daily-use ceramic products.
2 Normative references
The clauses in the following documents become the clauses of this standard through the reference of this standard. For dated references, all subsequent amendments (excluding errata content) or revisions do not apply to this standard, however, encourage the parties to the agreement based on this standard to study whether the latest versions of these documents can be used . The terms and definitions established in GB/T 4122.1-2008 apply to this standard. 4 packs
4.1 Packaging Design
4.1.1 The packaging design should be scientific, reasonable, practical, convenient, beautiful and marketable, taking into account the needs of different transportation and sales methods, conducive to recycling and reuse, and avoiding excessive packaging.

4.1.2 The packaging design should meet the requirements of GB/T 19451 and GB/T 17306, and fully consider consumers’ environmental safety, economy, and applicable

4.1.3 The main body of the package should be straight, and the main body and accessories should be complete, firm and consistent with each other.
4.1.4 The weight of each carton package should not exceed 40kg.
4.1.5 The packaging bar code should meet the requirements of GB/T 18127.
4.1.6 The color and pattern of the packaging should be beautiful, concise and reasonably matched.

4.2 Packaging materials
4.2.1 Packaging cartons should meet the requirements of GB/T6543, wooden boxes should meet the requirements of GB/T 12464, and pallets should meet the requirements of GB/T 12464.
The requirements of GB/T16470, other packaging materials should meet the requirements of GB/T9174.
4.2.2 Protective inner packaging materials should meet the requirements of GB/T 12339 and be kept dry and clean.
4.2.3 Metal sealing pins, straps and buckles should not be rusted, and the adhesive force of the sealing tape should be strong.
4.3 Packaging requirements
4.3.1 The packaging should meet the requirements of GB/T9174.
4.3.2 The packaging should ensure the safety of ceramic products, ensure that under normal storage and transportation conditions, the products and packaging are not damaged, and it is convenient for loading and unloading, storage and transportation.

4.3.3 The packaging should be neat and well-formed, and there should be spacer materials for shockproof and anti-collision inside the box.

4.3.7 Corrugated boxes can be glued or stapled. When gluing into boxes, sealing tape should be used, the width of which should not be less than 5cm;

4.4 Packaging inspection
4.4.1 Packaging sampling adopts GB/T 2828.1-2003 normal inspection secondary sampling, its inspection level is general inspection level I, receiving quality

4.4.2 The appearance quality and marks of packaging materials and auxiliary materials shall be visually inspected.

4.4.5 Stacking test and vertical impact drop test shall be carried out according to GB/T 4857.3 and GB/T 4857.5.

5.1 The packaging marks should be correct, clear, complete and firm, meeting the requirements of GB/T191.
5.2 The sign should include the following contents:
a) The name, specification and quantity of the product;
b) Product quality standards, quality grades and inspection marks;
c) Signs of “Fragile Items” and “Afraid of Rain”;
d) Specifications, dimensions, gross weight, net weight, article number, and production batch number of the package:

e) Manufacturer name, address, barcode:
f) Other signs that should be marked according to national regulations.
5.3 Signs may also include: telephone number, email address, website, trademark, third-party conformity mark authorized for use, etc.
5.4 The logo text shall use the standardized Chinese characters officially promulgated and implemented by the State Council. According to the specific requirements of the trade contract or the importing country (region), the exported products should use English or the official language of the country (region).
5.5 The unit of measurement of the mark shall be the national legal unit of measurement, and the quantity unit of the internal product shall be “piece”. 5.6 There should be no mistakes in the logo and text of the product.
5.7 Scribbled fonts, blurred printing, and serious color stains on the box surface are not allowed.
5.8 If it is not suitable to add a mark on the package due to its irregular shape or small size, it should be indicated in other appropriate ways, and the size should be based on the clearly identifiable graphics and text.
5.9 The transportation signs of international trade shall be carried out according to GB/T 18131. 5.10 Packaging recycling marks shall be implemented in accordance with GB 18455.
5.11 Those with special requirements shall be formulated by both trading parties. 6 Transport and storage
6.1 Transport and storage should adopt protective methods that are suitable for the characteristics of the product and packaging.
6.2 During transportation and storage, the package should avoid rain, snow, sun exposure, moisture and pollution. It shall not be stored or transported together with poisonous, harmful, corrosive articles and pollutants.
6.3 During transportation and storage, it should be handled with care, and transportation, loading and unloading methods and tools that damage the quality of the package should not be used. Packages should be packed tightly during shipment.
6.4 The product should be stored in a ventilated and dry warehouse. The storage ground should be hardened, flat, clean and away from fire sources.
6.5 During storage, the bottom layer should be no less than 15cm from the ground, and the stacking height should not exceed 180cm, and the lower layer of packages and products should not be crushed. 6.6 When storing in the open air for a short period of time, necessary measures such as protection against rain, snow and sun should be taken.
