Pen, we are certainly not unfamiliar, we commonly used like pencil, ballpoint pen, fountain pen…… but each kind pen all has a life span, the ink is used up or graphite is used up, the pen is useless.
So do you know there is an inkless pen?
Let’s know about our ordinary pen with their principle, first is pencil. Why pencils can write? That is because the pencil refill is made of graphite, graphite structure is very loose, when writing, graphite in the paper friction, graphite powder will fall off from the pencil, into the paper we can not see the gap, so it forms the pencil marks we see with our naked eyes.
The principle of the ballpoint pen is the use of the ballpoint nib ball and paper friction, so that the ball ball rolling, bring out the ink inside the pen, and then leave a handwriting on the paper, to achieve the purpose of writing.
So whether it is a pencil, ballpoint pen and fountain pen, as long as the refill or ink is used up, the life of the pen is over.
For the inkless pen, it does not have a ball, refill, ink. It is made of a special alloy into a very hard nib, by rubbing on the paper, the alloy metal molecules break down to stay on the surface of the paper. Because the wear between the metal and the paper is almost negligible, this pen is also known as the “eternal pen”.
