3. For the first time, China’s pen industry has identified 13 demonstration enterprises;
In order to thoroughly implement the national strategic deployment of “Made in China 2025”, further improve the core competitiveness of enterprises, and encourage pen-making enterprises to carry out innovative activities in the fields of cultural creativity, technology research and development, technological innovation, intelligent manufacturing, enterprise management, and business methods. In 2021, the China Pen Association will organize the identification of innovative demonstration enterprises in the pen industry.
The demonstration enterprise identification work follows the principles of fairness, impartiality and openness. The China Pen Association organized an expert group to review the enterprise’s application materials, listen to the enterprise’s relevant demonstration work reports, and conduct on-site assessments. The expert group comprehensively identified the enterprises’ innovation ability, innovation performance, economic benefits and other aspects that have made outstanding achievements and played an important demonstration and guiding role. The following 13 enterprises were identified as demonstration enterprises.

4. China’s pen-making industry has won a number of awards at the National Light Industry Science and Technology Innovation and Industrial Development Conference, and the pen-making products have won the Yangtze River Delta (Shengze) competition area award in the “Ruili Light Luxury Brand” competition;
On September 25, 2021, the China National Light Industry Federation held the National Light Industry Technology Innovation and Industrial Development Conference in Beijing. At the meeting, the awarding ceremony was held for the newly co-constructed and re-evaluated industrial clusters and the second batch of China Light Industry Engineering Technology Research Centers. The “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” light industry scientific and technological innovation advanced collectives and advanced individuals were commended, and the light industry advanced industrial clusters and the light industry industrial cluster management and service advanced units were commended and awarded. China’s pen industry “China Stationery Capital” was rated as an excellent industrial cluster for light industry, China Pen Association, the People’s Government of Fenshui Town, Tonglu County, and Qingyuan County Economic and Commerce Bureau were awarded the title of advanced unit for industrial cluster services, and Shanghai Chenguang Stationery Co., Ltd., Beifa Group Co., Ltd., and Qingdao Changlong Stationery Co., Ltd. were rated as the “13th Five-Year” Light Industry Technology Innovation Advanced Group, and Shanghai Chenguang Stationery Co., Ltd. Vice President Yao Hongjun was rated as “13th Five-Year” Light Industry Technology Innovation outstanding person. At the same time, the conference re-evaluated and awarded the industrial clusters of Yiwu City’s “China Pen-making Industry and Trade Base” and “China’s Pen-making R&D and Manufacturing Base” in Shixing County, Guangdong Province.
On September 28, 2021, the “Ruili Light Luxury Brand Competition Yangtze River Delta (Shengze) Division Award Ceremony” hosted by China’s well-known fashion media Ruili was held in Shengze, Suzhou. The “Hero 2192 Type Golden Pen” product of Shanghai Hero Golden Pen Factory Co., Ltd. recommended by China Pen Association won the Bronze Award for Light Luxury Quality. “Flying Pen” products won the Light Luxury Quality Excellence Award.
5. The donation ceremony of representatives of China Pen Association and leading enterprises in the industry was successfully held in Shucheng;
On the morning of September 16, representatives of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, the China Pen-making Association and leading enterprises in the pen-making industry held a love donation ceremony at the headquarters of Chengguan No. 3 Primary School Education Group in Shucheng County. Wu Shaoping, vice chairman of China Pen Association, Feng Zhaoxue, director of China Pen Association, and other leaders and representatives of caring enterprises attended the donation ceremony.
At the ceremony, Wu Shaoping, vice chairman of the China Pen Association, issued a donation certificate to the Shucheng County Education Bureau, Bao Xunxiang, secretary of the County Party Committee Education Working Committee and county education director, presented a plaque to the China Pen Association, and Xue Xiao, deputy head of the county party committee. Wu Shaoping, vice chairman of the China Pen Association, delivered a speech. He pointed out that alleviating the poor and donating to education is the common responsibility and obligation of all sectors of society, and it is also an important part of the social responsibility of enterprises in the pen industry. The China Pen Association will continue to hold love education activities, vigorously promote the entrepreneurial spirit of the pen industry, contribute to the revitalization of local education and care for the next generation, and donate a love to make the fire of charity more prosperous.
