The principle of screen printing is that the part of the screen with text and patterns on the plate is printed through ink, another part without pictures and text is impermeable to ink. It can be understood that we take a whole fishing net with many holes on it. We sealed the excess holes with cloth, leaving only the holes we wanted. Now we keep shrinking and shrinking the net to the size of the screen mesh. Now the ink can pass through the holes, the part with no hole can’t pass.
When printing, pour the adjusted ink on one side of the screen printing plate, apply a certain pressure on the ink part on the screen printing plate with a squeegee, and move it evenly toward the other side. The ink is squeezed by the squeegee from the mesh of the graphic part to the substrate during the movement. Due to the viscosity of the ink, the imprint is fixed within a certain range, and a certain gap is maintained between the screen printing plate and the substrate. When the squeegee is scraped across the entire layout, it is lifted, and the screen printing plate is also lifted. Gently scrape the ink back to its original position. Then printing is finished. Then take off the printed product and change to another product to continue.
